An Ode to Binky

Dear Binky,

I just want to say a big thank you. You have been with us, in various forms, since the very beginning. I had some hesitations at first but after giving you a try and seeing you work your magic, I threw caution to the wind and had faith that we would some day part ways.

In the beginning, you seemed to be the size of Will's head...

Over time you kind of turned into a 4th member of the family. We didn't go any place without you and we knew where you were at all times. While your time was mostly spent hanging out with Will while he slept, you did get to participate in many family activities and other important events.

You came on family vacations with us.

You helped us with big transitions where Will may have otherwise felt a little scared.

You spent holiday's with us even though I wish you weren't there for the sake of the picture.

You also became a big brother.

And of course, you came with us on many car trips and saved us from a car ride of ear piercing screams.

Will has decided that he is a big boy now and is ready to move on. We support his decision but we will never forget all the happiness and comfort you brought to Will. We are sad to see you go but at the same time happy that Will is growing up.
