Easter

Its crazy that almost a month has gone by since Easter. I keep putting off posting anything because I took a ridiculous amount of pictures (329 to be exact...what!!!) and haven't had the time to sort through them all to see what I have. We had a great Easter with my parents at the Cape. While it was a little chilly compared to home, we were able to spend time outside and even got in a quick walk on the beach. It was Jack's first Easter this year so it was extra special for us being able to celebrate with him. I'll spare you from picture overload so here are some of my favorites....

We enjoyed a walk on the beach and now I can't wait for summer. It was definitely a little chilly with the wind but Will still had fun dipping his toes in the water.



The easter bunny made an early stop at the house on Saturday bringing gifts for the boys.





A second visit from the easter bunny the next morning. I tried to hide Will's basket and have him try to find it but he was definitely a little to young for that this year. He didn't even know what he was looking for!



Then off to brunch but first a few family pics.









And we ended the morning with an easter egg hunt....

Jack's First Meal

The time has come to introduce Jack to the exciting world of solid food. Of course, when I say solid I really mean liquid rice cereal mush. After 5 months of living on milk alone, our little guy got his first taste of real solid food. It took a few bites before he warmed up to the taste but once he got the hang of it, he seemed to really like it. By day 2, he was grabbing the spoon and bowel from me. Most of the food ends up on his face and hands but he seems to enjoy what he does get into his mouth. Her are some pictures of Jack's first meal.....

Hmm...what's going on here? I don't usually sit here when I am going to eat.

Why are you sticking this spoon in my mouth daddy?

Uh...what the heck was that?

Mommy, why are you just sitting there taking pictures. Help?

I guess I'm not getting any help from you.


No, seriously daddy, no more food. It was good but I'm full.


Oh dear...he's got some work to do.


Meal #2...a little less eating and a little more playing.

I've got the hang of this eating. I'll just do it myself. Hand over the spoon mommy!
