Happy 6 Month Birthday Jack! At 6 months, Jack weighs 18 lbs 12 ozs and is 28 1/4 inches long. He is 68th percentile for weight and 93rd percentile for height. If he keeps up this growth rate, it looks like there is a chance Jack might be a taller than his brother. When it comes to head size though, he is right in line with Will....98th percentile. What can I say, my boys have big brains....they take after their mother :-) Jack is is sitting up completely on his own with very little falling over. He is eating 2 meals a day consisting of cereal and some sort of fruit or vegetable. I have to struggle with him to drink his bottle now because he loves eating his food so much. Jack is sleeping on average 9 1/2 hours a night and goes to bed at 7:30pm and is usually up at 5am (he is an early riser just like Will used to be..ugh). When he wakes up, he is always in a good mood and will usually play around in his crib for a little before letting us know he is awake. He just started rolling over towards the end of the month and now can roll from his back and his belly. And he is also starting to try and push himself up onto his knees to get into the crawling position. However, I'm in no rush for him to start crawling yet...life is crazy enough as it is. I'm not ready to add a crawling baby into the mix!! The best thing about Jack is that he is such a happy baby and always has a big smile on his face. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
I managed to accumulate a LOT of pictures of Jack over the past month. Enjoy!
Sesame Street fan in training.
First time playing in the sand.
Jack's first sick day. Helping me get some work done.
Such a happy boy. Jack loves to laugh at whatever Will is doing.
Brotherly Love
This toy has been sitting around the house for a while now and Will hasn't so much as glanced at it. The second I put Jack in to play, Will decided he also had to play with it at that same very moment. And he couldn't just stand there and play with the toys at the table, he had to try an squish his way into the seat with Jack. Of course he got himself stuck in there and needed to be rescued (after a few pictures first).
