4 Months!!
I feel like I blinked and another month went by. It was just the other day that I was writing Jack's 3 month entry and here we are at 4 months. Jack is no longer a baby, he is a little person now. I feel like he should still be a newborn not at the point where he is working on sitting up, almost rolling over and was given the okay by the doctor to start solid food!
At 4 months, Jack weighs 14 lbs 8 ozs. He is in the 54th percentile and is a lightweight compared to his brother who was in the 90th percentile by this time. His height came in at 27 1/4 inches which is in the 99th percentile for his age! Maybe he got some of those tall Dugas genes. His head is also at the top of the range in the 91st percentile just like his brother. As I always said with Will, big head = big brains. :-) Jack is still such a happy baby and all we have to do is talk to him to get big smiles and giggles. He is a good sleeper and is sleeping through the night most nights. We are still working on nap times during the day because he is a cat napper. He sleeps for 20 minutes here and there and is taking about 3-4 naps a day. Jack discovered his feet and loves trying to reach his toes all the way into his mouth. He is very close to rolling over but hasn't yet figured out that final push to get him to the other side. He loves to suck on his hand and is starting to grab at anything that is in front of him, especially his brothers face (which is always at arms reach). Will purposely puts his face close to Jack so Jack will grab him and then Will grabs his face and pretends like Jack hurt him...he already practicing how to get his brother in trouble! Here are some pictures from the month....
