Merry Christmas Eve!!
This year we were fortunate enough to celebrate Christmas in our new home with our newest addition to the family. We kicked off the Christmas festivities with my parents on Christmas eve. It was so nice to enjoy a relaxing evening at our house by the fire.
Of course this Christmas was even more special since we had two little guys to celebrate it with. I think Jack slept through most of the evening but Will had enough excitement and energy for the two of them. As usual, Will made out like a bandit in the gift department. He was still a little young this year to understand Santa and everything else leading up to Christmas but the second he opened that first gift (a Sesame Street toy..Will's favorite) you could see a spark in his eye as he realized that presents=new toys for Will. He had so much fun opening everything and of course he had to have every toy out of the box before he would move onto the next one. Here are some pictures from the night.
Will is in his helping stage now and insisted on serving everyone the cheese and crackers. By the end, every piece of food had been touched (or chewed) by Will.
Let the gifts begin!
A new play kitchen
And a Thomas the train pop up tent. Here is Will in his tent saying "choo-choo".
Jack slept through all the gift opening excitement.
Cheese!
Getting a 1 1/2 year old to hold a baby is not easy. And trying to get the binky out of his mouth is near impossible...
I struggled to get Will to sit in front of the tree with Jack but he insisted on bringing Jack into his new tent.
And then Eric...
Grandma, Judu and the boys
Here was my attempt to take a picture of Eric with the boys. As you can see, Will had enough with the picture taking at this point.
Hey Will..look over here..
Where are you going?
Can you just sit down next to daddy for a minute?
Almost!
Oh nevermind.....
Since Jack missed out on most of the activity at the beginning of the night, I was able to snap a few pictures before we went to bed. Seeing that it was his first christmas and all, I felt bad that I didn't have many pictures of him!
